CNC Machining is an advanced manufacturing technology that works by converting computer-generated designs into precise instructions for CNC machine tools, achieving efficient and accurate Machining Processes. The following will provide a detailed introduction to the workflow of CNC machining.

Firstly, create a design using computer-aided design (CAD) software. CAD software provides rich design tools that can draw complex workpiece shapes. Designers can design according to their needs, including shape, size, processing features, etc.

This step is usually completed by specialized software, which converts geometric information and machining parameters from CAD files into code that CNC machine tools can understand. These codes are usually in G code format, including tool motion path, feed rate, cutting depth, etc.

Next, the CNC machine operator sets up the workpiece, fixes it, and loads the necessary tools. The operator selects the appropriate fixture according to the processing requirements, fixes the workpiece on the fixture, and installs the required cutting tools. These cutting tools can be selected in different types and specifications according to processing needs, such as milling cutters, drill bits, turning tools, etc.

CNC machine tools control the movement of cutting tools and cutting parameters according to programming instructions to accurately shape workpieces. CNC machine tools move the tool along a predetermined path to the surface of the workpiece and perform cutting processing by controlling the movement of components such as the tool feed axis and spindle. The motion trajectory of the cutting tool is controlled by G code, which can achieve various complex machining forms.

Throughout the entire machining process, sensors and feedback systems play a crucial role in maintaining machining accuracy and quality. Sensors can monitor information such as tool position and workpiece surface condition during the machining process, and feedback this information to the CNC control system. The control system adjusts in real-time based on feedback information to ensure the accuracy and consistency of processing.
