Polishing Area

Detailed Description

Surface polishing is a light integrated processing method that utilizes mechanical, chemical, or electrochemical effects on a polishing machine or belt grinder.

During processing, the polishing paste is applied to a high-speed rotating soft elastic polishing wheel or sand belt, and intense friction is used to generate high temperature, forming an extremely thin melt layer on the processing surface, which can fill the micro unevenness on the processing surface and obtain a bright mirror surface. Surface polishing is suitable for coating surface modification.

A machining method that utilizes mechanical, chemical, or electrochemical effects to reduce the surface roughness of workpieces, in order to obtain a bright and flat surface.

It is a process of pre-treatment such as cutting or grinding to provide a smooth surface. It can improve the accuracy of geometric shapes such as surface texture (surface roughness), dimensional accuracy, flatness, and roundness.

Firstly, the principle of product polishing process is to utilize the interaction between abrasives and the processed material to remove the roughness and oxide layer on the surface of the product, thereby achieving surface smoothness and brightness. Common polishing methods include mechanical polishing, chemical polishing, and electrolytic polishing, each with its unique characteristics and applicability. Mechanical polishing is the most common polishing method, which achieves surface treatment by friction between abrasives and the product surface; Chemical polishing is the use of chemical solutions to treat the surface of products, achieving the goal of removing oxide layers and improving surface smoothness; Electrolytic polishing is the process of using the principle of electrolysis to corrode and polish the surface of a product through the action of electrolyte and current.

Secondly, product polishing technology has important applications in various industries. In the automotive manufacturing industry, product polishing technology is widely used in the processing of automotive exterior components, such as the body and wheels, to make the appearance of the car more beautiful and attractive; In the furniture manufacturing industry, product polishing technology is used for surface treatment of furniture to improve its texture and grade; In the construction materials industry, product polishing technology is applied to the surface treatment of materials such as marble and granite, making building materials more beautiful and elegant.
